One of my favorite things to do in life is to travel. I always have my camera with me however I’m not always so good about editing my own photos. Personal photos are so important and in an effort to practice what I preach here are some of my favorite images from a recent trip to the Napa Valley region in California. My husband and I visited Napa for the first time and it is so beautiful there! I would absolutely love to photograph a wedding in the area! An odd fact that I learned on our trip…weddings are not allowed at wineries in Napa. Isn’t that surprising? You can get married at a winery in Sonoma but not in the city of Napa. One of my favorite towns was Yountville. It’s a tiny spot near Napa filled with some of the best restaurants. Be sure to get coffee and crepes from the Coffee Caboose! Their coffee is so much better than Bouchon Bakery. Trust me. Skip the line and go to Coffee Caboose! We also stopped at The Carneros Inn and had a wonderful breakfast at the Boon Fly Cafe. The property is gorgeous and I hear it’s just perfect for weddings.
