Austin Wedding Photography | Jessie + Mess | part 2

I wish I was Danish. The Danes really know how to throw a party. If you haven’t seen part 1 of the Jessie + Mess wedding, please check it out here: part 1

The wedding party moved over to the beautiful Mercury Hall for the remainder of the evening. I saw things happen at this wedding reception that I’ve never seen in all my life and I loved every second of it. Socks were cut off, kissing standing on top of the chairs, kissing under the table. There was never a dull moment. Danish weddings FTW! Want to breathe some life into your reception? Then hire these guys: The Minor Mishaps, they are a super cool Austin marching band. Enjoy and congratulations to Jessie and Mess! Stay warm in Denmark.

Austin Wedding Photography | Jessie and Mess | part 1

Funnest wedding ever.
Jessie and Mess had a whirlwind romance, meeting in New York barely one year ago. Mess said in his toast to his love that he “knew from the moment he met Jessie, that she was the one”. They moved to Austin and recently were married in a quaint South Austin church followed by a rocking reception at Mercury Hall. The wedding ceremony was so touching and full of surprises including a rad marching band and a beautiful version of the Beatles song, I Want To Hold Your Hand, sung by the entire room full of guests. I admit that I was singing right along with them.
I just love Jessie’s wedding look! So 1940s Hollywood glamour. She was such a stunning bride.

New Braunfels Wedding Photography | Vanessa + Robbie

Ever wonder why girls are always going into the bathroom together? It’s because they are training for days like this one. Take one gorgeous bride and her two bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride, various flower girls and two photographers and one 5×5 confessional and what do you get? A very crowded dressing room on your wedding day! It was just the beginning of a fun day with New Braunfels couple, Robbie and Vanessa. I am so thrilled that I was asked to join Shyann Harker to cover this wedding. The ceremony was held at their church followed by the reception at Castle Avalon in New Braunfels, Texas. What a sweet couple Vanessa and Robbie turned out to be. I love couples who are completely themselves in front of the camera.
