It’s hard to believe that 2011 is already here. Time has flown by and I want to thank all of my amazing clients for making 2010 an incredible year. I have loved getting to photograph your special moments and feel so lucky to have a job I really love! What better way to welcome in the new year than the arrival of a new baby! Here are some of my favorites from the newborn session I did with my dear friends, Laura, Hux and their new baby, Philip. I’ve known Laura since my days at the Westlake Picayune newspaper. It’s so easy to loose touch with people when you move on from jobs but Laura and I have managed to keep a close friendship. I still remember her telling me she was pregnant. I’m pretty sure I screamed. And seriously, how cute is this baby nursery? Laura did everything herself including painting the circles on the wall and the whale art on the wall is painted by her too!
It was an honor to be asked to photograph their first portraits as a family! Congratulations to you guys. Philip is a beautiful baby and I am excited to watch him grow up with you.

Meet the newest member of the Taylor family. Graham is the sweetest little baby boy ever with the cutest belly I’ve ever seen. I got together with the Taylor’s for my first newborn session. What fun. You really are on the baby’s schedule and everybody was very patient as we waited for the little guy to get settled and sleepy. Even big brother helped out. This is one gorgeous family. There are so many good photos. I wish I could post them all!
