A few months ago I had the pleasure of doing a fun lifestyle photography session with Katie + Libby. Katie had contacted me about setting up a portrait session so that she and her sister could gift photos to their Mother for Mother’s Day. What a fun idea! They had not had photos taken together since they were children so it was so special for me to have this opportunity to help them out. We spent the evening running around Austin and had such a blast. These girls were so much fun to work with and not to mention they are both BEAUTIFUL! Katie is busy planning on attending Law school while Libby is a student at Southwest Texas Texas State! I hope you girls call me when you get engaged. It would be so amazing to photograph your weddings…you know, whenever that happens!

When we discussed doing V’s boudoir session, I loved how easy going she was about everything. Her “might as well have something to show the grand kids how good I looked” attitude told me this would be a fun day. You have to love a client who is comfortable in her own skin. She knew just what kind of look she wanted and with the help of my style skills and the ever amazing Ellie on hair and make up, we ended up with a chic boudoir session. V booked a suite at the Kimber Modern Hotel in downtown Austin for the session. This place is amazing and it would make the perfect location for a bridal party before the wedding ceremony. It’s intimate and centered with a courtyard and view of downtown – just gorgeous.
