Here is part one of my Hawaii destination wedding in Kauai. Words alone can not describe the beauty that is the island of Kauai. It feels like stepping back in time to some prehistoric era where dinosaurs roamed the land freely. It’s so green unlike the often dry landscape of Texas and has mountains that dot the coastline. Kauai remains mostly untouched by sprawling tourism. You’ll see no highrise hotels like you will on Waikiki. The locals are friendly and chickens are as commonly seen as people. Besides a TON of rain – we’re talking floods – the experience was one I’ll never forget. Being amongst Sam + Daniel’s family + friends provided a more intimate glimpse in to their lives that I normally don’t have the pleasure of witnessing. I am so excited to share these photos with you. There are so many moments I want to share from this wedding at Kiahuna Plantation that I’ll have to split the images in to two posts…that or risk breaking my blog
! Part two will show the ceremony + the Hawaiian reception. We also had a chance to do a portrait session before the wedding day. That too will have to be another entry. Like I said, so many photos to share!! Please leave some love for Sam + Daniel. They traveled so far and worked so hard to make this wedding happen. Thank you so much for allowing me to be with you.
