After spending the day in Houston with Fer, an amazing wedding photographer based in Mexico, for his workshop, I feel energized and inspired! It’s always interesting to see how other photographers work. I loved being able to play with new ways to see light and create a more dramatic image. We don’t always have time to get images like this on the day of the wedding, so I’m hoping to encourage clients to consider adding a day-after session to their wedding collections. Here are a few of my favorite engagement and wedding session images from the day. I admit, there are a few that make me so, so happy…in a “OMG, I freaking shot that!!” kind of way! I have to give a special nod to the In-Tandems, an amazing photography duo, who were our models for the day. They are the sweetest people and really rocked it in front of the camera.

I loved hanging out with Kate + Ryan. I met Kate a couple of years ago at her friends Jeanette + Drew’s wedding at Laguna Gloria. Kate was one of Jeanette’s bridesmaids so I’m even more excited to photograph her wedding next year at Green Pastures.
