Anika [...]]]> I’ve known Anika forever. It seems that way any how. We met years ago in the best acting class I’ve ever taken. We bared our souls in front of each other and became fast friends. That is what happens when you expose the best and the worst there is about you with others. They either love you or hate you. Lucky for us it was the beginning of a close bond.

Anika has taught me many things over the years, including how not to be so modest (that’s her European influence coming out) when it comes to undressing in front of well, anyone, but more importantly she has taught me to pursue what you love. Because it won’t just come to you. You have to go after it completely. That’s what she does. She goes after it.

Anika has just published her first book, a funny and clever read about sex and love. It’s called Forty-Five-1/2 Lovers — The Tragic Sex Chronicles of Amanda Buffington. Go buy it! When she contacted me to shoot her publicity shots for the book, I jumped on the chance. Ideas flew around my head as I envisioned a boudoir type setting to showcase this amazing story. We had the best time ever at the Hotel Saint Cecilia who graciously allowed us to use one of their beautiful rooms. The unbelievable Ellie did Anika’s make up. You should all hire Ellie. She has unreal make up skills. LOVE her. We all had one of those moments where we just laughed at the insane amount of fun we were having doing something we all love. The fact we were able to share it together was just icing on the cake.
