Austin Hill Country Wedding preview!

Spring wedding season is here! This weekend was filled with love at Katherine + Jeff’s Austin Hill Country wedding! What a glamorous bride + groom! Katherine’s chic yet relaxed / bohemian wedding style has been one of my favorite bridal looks I’ve seen! Her hair by one of my favorite stylists, Erica Gray, did such a great job. I just love it when a bride wears her hair down for her wedding!

I’m so happy to share this preview of their wedding in the Austin hill country. These two images were taken during the couple’s “first look”. Katherine wanted a natural woodsy setting for their first look + I think this turned out perfectly. Congrats, you two!

Weddings at home are inevitably more personal. I love being invited into a family’s home + getting the opportunity to photograph arguably one of the most important days in their lives in possibly the most important place – their home. The comfort level is elevated + a relaxed vibe sets in…football is on the tv while people are buzzing about getting ready – everyone is helping the day to come together. Stevie + Andrew married at her parent’s home in Comfort, Texas. This beautiful wedding took place under tall Dr. Seuss like trees with chandeliers hanging from the branches…it was gorgeous. This log cabin was full of the most taxidermy I’ve ever seen – their families are avid hunters – so prepare yourselves . I hope you enjoy this quirky yet elegant ranch wedding at home.
